Settlement issues have been identified, and as a result, emergency speed restrictions were implemented along the route. The embankment supporting the railway was then monitored daily, observing significant movement(s).

  1. Review and collateWe reviewed the available data and ground model to establish a design ground model to current UK guidance, using ‘characteristic’ material parameters.
  2. Slope analysis Undertake slope stability analysis of the existing slope, identifying likely failure mechanisms.
  3. Design options Design preliminary remedial options through to detailed and design of chosen solution.
  4. Design RecommendationsWe delivered detailed reports, including earthwork remedial recommendations and solutions.
